The Challenge

My dog the late great  Roxanne Josephine Hayes   finally passed away and maybe it was the vet service, the Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton CT that hooked me up with Dave Olson who did pet cremations and somehow in the conversation about picking up the ashes of my dog it came up that I did web design and Dave asked me to take a look at the site he had since he wanted to remodel and improve it.

So What Did We Decide To Do?

We Rethought The "Brochure" Approach Beloved Companions Had Been Taking Up To That Point & And Instead Adopted An Approach With The User Experience (Ux), Customer Journey In Mind.

New Improved Homepage Design And Approach With the UX, the Customer Journey In Mind.

Brochere stule websites are fine as far as getting your company on the web where it can be found if someone happens to be searching for you by name. Brochere websites are really just glorified yellow pages ads like we all used to use back in the last century. They may have a litle bit of SEO in them applied to them accidentially or unknowingly that helps them a little when there are no other compaies like them in that web space providing that service but people search for answeres to thier questions about that service or product will only find them if they are lucky.

New Improved Contact Page Design And Approach With UX In Mind

We replaced the existing contact page with an elegant new design that has good sized blurb tiles with icon buttons in them that when clicked will dial the contact number on mobile devices and on Mac desktops will place the call via FaceTime. If the user wants to visit the Beloved Companions Family Pet Center in Avon CT clicking the directions button will open a Google Maps window that the user can enter their location and get driving directions.
